Week02 of Fab Academy!

1. Assignment

  • model (raster, vector, 2D, 3D, render, animate, simulate, ...) a possible final project
  • compress your images and videos
  • and post a description with your design files on your class page

2. PC working environment

  • PC：MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020)
  • OS: macOS Ventura (ver 13.0.1)
  • Terminal：zsh
  • Setting : Rosetta

3. Compress images and videos

Fab Academy has a limit on the size (10MB/a week) of git push to remote repository.
I do my best with below tools.

Tools I Learned:
- Images -> ImageMagick
- Videos -> FFmpeg

NOTE:
- Since the details are voluminous, I created a page for each tool.
(ex: assignments > Week02 > ImageMagick, etc)

4. What I Modeled this week?

4-1) 2D Model (raster) - GIMP

7. My impression about week02

  • It is quite tough week for me, as I had a several error and troubles.
  • The time management is so important!
  • Plan is important for each assignment!
    to be efficient and smart about it or we won't have time.

  • The save file is important! Please be careful for the current and future students, too. In my case, during work with Blender, I lost the file and change to fusion I'm familiar to use.

  • It is better to use many software before Fabacademy. The below tools is the first time to use.
