About me¶

I’m a (mobile) software engineer who likes his code clean, his hardware hackable, and his problems slightly uncomfortable.
I’m here to escape the screen, build things that blink, move, and occasionally catch fire (on purpose), and learn just enough digital fabrication to be dangerous.
When not compiling, I’m probably optimizing something that didn’t need it, or wondering how to connect a sensor to the cloud for no good reason. 😁
I graduated in Electrical and Computers Engineering many years ago, but I’ve always worked as a software engineer. First as backender and fullstack, and then the last 16 years as an Android developer.
I’m looking forward to start deploying software into my own hardware 😉
Fun facts:
- I started using linux in 93 when it was still version 0.99pl13 and being distributed in 20 diskettes 😄. I never felt the need to change to anything else. It’s also a great excuse to avoid having to fix you relative’s Windows problems 😆
- In order to avoid decision fatigue I own multiple copies of the same clothes and also store food in the fridge sorted by expiration date so that I don’t waste time deciding on what to pick 🤷♂
- I like travelling and nature and have volunteered as Scout leader for over 20 years
- I like memes 😆
