About me

I’m Denise Rey, and I am a product designer with an interdisciplinary background. I love interfaces, specially non-digital ones, and the process of discovering new ways of interacting through play and experimentation.

My background

I was born in Argentina, but I really like traveling. That’s why I love being able to work remotely. Besides traveling, I like to know how the city is lived, and luckily I had the opportunity to live for a short period of time in São Paulo, London, Jerusalem, and now I moved to Barcelona for this Fab Academy experience :)

Some of the things I’ve done

For the last couple of years, I’ve been working on product design for (mainly) digital products. I worked in a consultancy where in addition to doing UX for banks, I also made some IoT products. I was also part of a very large Latin American hospitality company, an insurtech start-up where I created a makerspace focused on experimenting with electronics. Also, I did some things for Docker and other IT companies, as a freelancer. Currently, I work in an ex-startup of Security and Informatics doing some projects such as a WYSIWYG, factor sequence playground, and WebAuthn experience.
