in this week we will focus on preparing a presentation for our final project, we should create a video and slides, and the Task for this week as follow.

  • Develop a plan for dissemination of your final project.
  • Prepare drafts of your summary slide (presentation.png, 1920x1080) and video clip (presentation.mp4, 1080p HTML5, < ~minute, < ~10 MB) and put them in your root directory

Invention

The Line (the final project’s name) is an Interactive playboard. I have been always thinking about projects that can mix Arab art with digital fabrication so the Fab Academy has been the chance to develop a project that integrates design, fabrication, and electronics, something that I had never done before.

The design is the development of my own ideas, none of the processes or knowledge involved in this project can be considered an invention of mine. I have built my project upon existing knowledge and information.

However, it is the harmonious combination of all this knowledge that makes The line (my project) an original product is not a copy of a previous design, so I consider then, although the processes for its fabrication and programming are not originally mined I’m only collect and manage the knowledge that I have search about it to make it work to my final Idea, so I would like to be mentioned, attributed and cited as its author.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

These licenses come with associated visual symbols that make easy to understand the explanation of rights. Creative Commons licenses do not replace copyright but are based on it.

I Will use Creative Commons (CC) for my project that means:

Dissemination plan

Dissemination

On my Final Project page, you can find all the details about my project, how I came up with the idea, how I designed it, and cut it what the materials and fabrication machines I’m using, I explain with details about electronic parts what components I use and why I use it I’ve shared all the steps, the mistakes, and how I fix it and in the end I mention the materials stores.

Income

In the beginning, I did not think about my project as a commercial way but as an interactive puzzle, it will be a great business start especially if I add a feature you can request your own puzzle picture you want I will the final Product.

Future Probabilities I want to add some components like LCD and some sounds to make it more interactive and funnier too, For the body, I think if I make it smaller and decrease the pieces of the puzzle it will be better and easy to move.
