WELCOME to Fab Acedemy-Blog. My name is LUIS ALBERTO PEREZ TOLENTINO. My friends call me LUCHO, I am 25 years old and I am a fan of free technologies (Hardware and Software), I am a multifaceted boy in several areas and I continue to learn even more things.
I believe that future of education should be based on free knowledge and philosophy of DIY
I am a Graphic Design student at the Faculty of Design at Universidad de Ciencias y Artes de America Latina - UCAL, this year I finish the University!.
Also I have other institute certifications in Photography, Video Production and Web Design at Intituto Peruano de Arte y Diseño - IPAD and 3d Modeling and Animation and Digital Architecture Modeling at Escuela de Arte Digital (unfortunately, my institute closed).
Two years ago I was the Assistant in FabLab UCAL, there I found the motivation and desire to become an industrial designer, in that way my designs are going to be able to help many people.
I have a good spatial intelligence and when it comes to start designing an object from a client, I understand their recquierments easily. I want to dedicate myself to digital manufacturing and industrial design because it is what I enjoy and I am passionate about. I am also good at this.

I am a person willing to learn new knowledge or interesting data and use it in my work or projects. In my spare time I vary in what I do since I have many hobbies. One of them is cooking I love it!. other is look at space and meditate imagining being able to travel through space, I also enjoy watching many Movies or Series either on Netflix, Prime, or previously downloaded on my PC. what I like to do the most when I travel or need to calm down is listen to music. especially of these genres while I work Glo-Fi, Hypnagogic pop, Vaporwave, Rhythm and blues, Italo Disco, Techno, Hard Rock or Metalcore, believe it or not, its relaxes me and helps me focus on my work and relaxes me. These are some of the hobbies that I have and enjoy doing them.
I'm a DRUMMER, I had an alternative metal band a long time ago, just for a year, that's why I really enjoy music. But what I enjoy the most is being a big fan of STAR WARS and SCI-FI, I have a great collection of action figures and comics.
Sometimes I took photos of them as a hobby, they also help me to be inspired by my projects or designs.
I think doing something to inspire you and also relax is Ideal.
