Invention, intellectual Property and Income

In this task I'm supposed to do a dissemination plan for what I made. I have to say What I did was not an invention, but it has something of my self because of the design mostly.
But due to the title of the week I think it would be a good idea to talk a little about it.

Invention

Invention it is when you find a problem or something interesting and you start doing research about it, discover something interesting and then develop something about it. That's basically an invention. And That's not what I did.

Intellectual property

Intellectual property is more accurate to what I did, because I did not research on something specifically, I used already discovered information and developed tools to create something of my own. But I didn't discovered or developed something. I just bring and Idea to life.

Income

And income, basically making money out of what I did.

What I did

So, patents and stuff are include legal things and that's not what I want, and I don't want to keep as a secret what I did. SO there is an option called Creative Commons Attribution, this is basically telling the world, hey, this is what I did, here is my work, you can do whatever you want with it, as long as you give me my credit. And here is it:

The plan

There was no plan of dissemination because of the project. It ended up being just a toy that a children would use, so for this specifically might
The target might be children.
It was funded by my pocket and it would had to be like that on the first steps.
There is no business plan, except for keep developing it until it is useful, for example: the size and the way it can move might transform into a explorer car.
In case of earthquakes it might help searching into the rubbles, or in caves or something like that.
I repeat it needs a loooooooooot of developing.
I choose to license it because it might me great if it inspires someone and the license forces the person to let me know, knowing it inspired something might be great. Also because it is not the big deal, I don't find any problem on letting anyone use it.

Future possibilities

As I have already mentioned There is the intention to add a camera to this car and go exploring places where you don't want to go, or you can't reach. Taking advantage of it's size.
It also has potential as a house delivery car, I mean, on the same floor I can send it to the kitchen for example and ask someone there to place some food on it, so I don't have to leave the coach when I'm hungry.

What I learned

There are a lot of ways of securing your job, the best one is keeping it as a secret, but that means no income and no marketing. So, no money, if you want to make something out of it, you have to expose it to the world. And there are ways of protecting it.
You can save everything just for you and not let anyone to do anything with it except buying it. And from that point to the most permissive licenses.
Important, there will be nobody checking the therms of the license patent, you have to do it your self. There is no patent police.
