I'm Marco Antonio Sardo, from Italy. I am an Argentine Tango passionate, guitar enthusiast and roller skater, who also knows a bit of electronics.
I used some saved money and decide to come to Barcelona and do something I wished to do for a long time: deepen my knowledge about digital fabrication (and improve my english).
My background: I am formally a Junior Telecommunication Engineer, but after I graduated I spent two years following a professional Argentine Tango Career in Rome (where you
can find the second most large Tango community of the world, the first is Buenos Aires obviously).
Then the pandemic happened, and now I happly work as a Electronic Tutor.
I need to find an equilibrium between my life and my goals, I hope FabAcademy will help me to get
the right experiences to succeede.
Ciao belli!
I also like editing video, but It's something I still cannot do very often. This is because I have always been obsessively careful about the details when I'm making one, and you maybe know: Perfection is the opposite of "done".
Anyway I am very satisfied with the results of my small collection so far, in this video I build a very simple device with arduino (basically a Theremin that is activated via a Capacitive sensor) to generate a sound that resamble a Geiger detector and I approached people (mainly girls) saying that it was a love detector and stupid stuff like that. Obviously no one believed it but the human interactions were fun.
