Hello !
My name is Fabio COELHO RIBEIRO. I'm Belgian and Portuguese and I've lived in Belgium all my life.
I work at the ULB (Université Libre de Bruxelles) in Belgium as a technician.
My work is mainly to create, maintain or fix little machines called processes pilot that will be used by students in a laboratory at the university for practical work as well as making PCBs for different little projects or help/advice students in their work.
What I do
I have a bachelor in applied electronics, that I got at the HEFF - HELB (Haute École Francisco Ferrer - Haute École Libre de Bruxelles Ilya Prigogine).
I have a lot of experience in electronics and have already made multiple projects, PCBs, 3D pieces and learned different programming languages (like C, C++, C#).
Here are some stuff I've made in the past :
The first and second images are school projects, the first one is my first ever electronic project, it was a tank with pliers and a movable turret with a camera mounted on it (I couldn't find an actual image of the project) and the second one is a Battleships board like game with RGB LEDs, controllable via an application I made on computer.
The third image is a PCB I made during an internship at the university I work at. The PCB would then be mounted in an analog computer for students to use during laboratories for experiments.
What I like
- I love video games, I started to play them when I was very young with the oldest consoles I can remember being a Playstation 2 and even a NES at my grandparents house. Then eventually a Playstation 3 and later a Playstation 4. But I eventually switch to PC gaming around the beginning of 2024. Even to this day, I still play a lot.
- I really like stuff to build like puzzles, gundams, wooden puzzles and more types like these.
- I also love mangas (of any kind), movies and TV shows (mainly science fiction, adventures and fantasy).
