This week was review of our final project pitch.

Final Project: What will it do?
It will be anamatronic wings that have led lights in them. The wings will move like butterfly wings and the lights will outline the wings.
Final Project: Who has done what beforehand?
Several cosplayers have done it before. But the wings that Im using as a base are from adafruit.
Final Project: What will you design?
Ill redesign the backplate and the wing clip. The shape of the wings and the lights are fully my design. The pcp plate and pcp plate holder are fully my design as is the harness. I have designed them to fit on my sisters back taking in account her disability and factoring in that I have to be able to remove them fast and the pieces that remain will have to be comfortable to sit in a wheelchair with them on. Removing the entire unite is not a possibilite since some of it is hidden under the costume and will require you to take it off. Swithcing out from competition wings (large and heavy) to smaller walk around the comicon with will have to be super easy. Taking them apart and them being easy to travel with is also a big factor.
Final Project: What meterials and components will be used?
I have to make them as light as possible and also work with my sisters scoliosis and hemi paralysis. I will be 3D printing, laser cutting and milling. The decorations vinyl and/or painted and the lights.

All materials will be sourced in Iceland and amazon.com .

Final Project: What parts and systems will be made?
Everything will be made except the electrical components and the screws.

Lasercutting, milling, 3D printing and Vinylcutting.
Final Project: What questions need to be answered?
What material will be light enough, size vs weight. The ease of removing them and taken them apart so they fit into a regular bag. If I can usethe WiFI to turn them on and off.

Functionality and ability to transport the units.
