About me¶
Greetings! I am Marvin Holloway, a seasoned Senior Innovation Technician stationed at the NIHERST FABLAB (formerly known as The Creative Design Lab) in Trinidad and Tobago. My role is centered at the esteemed National Science Centre, where our primary objective is to advance STEM education through innovative means. Leveraging a spectrum of science-driven initiatives including projects, workshops, camps, and events, we endeavor to foster widespread engagement and enthusiasm for scientific exploration.
My background¶
My academic background encompasses a comprehensive study of Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronic Engineering at a distinguished institution in Trinidad. Throughout my academic journey, I immersed myself in a vast array of engineering paradigms, thereby nurturing a profound affinity for technological exploration and honing my prowess in innovation and invention.
Work¶
At the FABLAB, my primary focus lies within the Robotics unit, where I spearhead/ collaborate in the conception, development, and implementation of diverse programs, workshops, clubs, demonstrations, and events centered on robotics. One notable advantage of my role within this department is the opportunity to engage in hands-on experimentation, diagnostic analysis, and utilization of an extensive array of cutting-edge technologies.
