Tatiana Avsievich

Hi, I'm Tanya! I'm a researcher in the Biophotonics group of Optoelectronics and Measurement Techniques (OPEM) laboratory, University of Oulu, Finland. My background lies mostly in biophysics and has been related to living systems properties. At the moment I'm studying blood cell properties with optical tweezers method pursuing to understand how nanomaterials may affect human cells.

The set of skills offered by Fabacademy is very versatile, and can be applied by the specialists with different backgrounds. I want to acquire digital fabrication skills, and learn how to apply them in my professional scope. I believe that under the great guidance of supportive FabLab Oulu team Fabacademy I will aquire many useful skill to benefit my research.
