Week 11. Midterm Review

This weeks assigments are as follows:

  Individual Assignment:

  Use On your final project site post a system diagram for your project,
list the tasks to be completed, make a schedule for doing them,
and meet with your local instructor to review these.

Plan for the Final Project

   I seriously discussed my final project with my supervisor, Salman Farris. He proposed that the final project should include parts such as laser cut, 3D printing and PCB design. He expressed support and affirmation for the gesture recognition, light effect and sound effect of my sword, and put forward many useful suggestions. He helped me determine the chips and other modules to be used eventually, which gave me great confidence.

Schedule for Following Assignments

Week 11 Input Devices My final project doesn't involve extra input devices, becuase the IMU was embeded in the nRF82540, so I may use a DHT11 sensor instead.
Week12 Moulding and Casting I think I may make a cute bunny mould.
Week13 Output Devices I will implement the LED effect this week.
Week14 Networking My nRF82540 has bluetooth module, or I can also go with ESP32C3 in our lab for this assignment.
Week15 Interface I think I will proceed with ESP32C3 and implementing MQTT interface.
