Rukundo Jean Claude received his Advanced Diploma degree in 2013 from IPRC Kigali. In 2019, he received a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the Institut Superieur de Technologie and in 2022, he received a Master's degree in Internet of Things-Wireless Sensor Networking from the University of Rwanda's African Center of Excellence in internet of Things.

He has more than 8 years of experience in the field of embedded systems, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering. He has served in various positions, including Instructor for Electronics and Embedded Systems at IPRC NGOMA, Business Incubation Officer at IPRC NGOMA, and Instructor in Electronics and Mechatronics at IPRC Kigali, Visiting Assistant Lecturer at Unilak and INES RUHENGERI, conducting modules related to Embedded systems and Internet of Things.

He has also participated in various entrepreneurship programs, including AGEA (African-Germany Entrepreneurship Academy) which aims to promote entrepreneurship education, promotion and start-ups and businesses development in Africa.

Claude is among of shares holders in Hillelectronics LTD, a startup company specializing in the production of affordable, locally-sourced training kits for digital electronics, embedded systems, and IoT. These kits are specifically designed for use in laboratory workshops at universities and secondary schools. The company provides digital fabrication training to young tech enthusiasts . He is currently serving as FabLab/Maker-Space Senior Engineer at Rwanda Information Society Authority (RISA) in the HangaHub project, which helps tech-enabled entrepreneurs and start-ups to start and grow their businesses and succeed in the market. His research interests include the Internet of Things, big data and Machine learning applications.

Past Projects

During my masters studies , i worked on project called biogas monitoring system for preventive maintenance.

The main objective was to Develop biogas monitoring system to provide information on the biodigester status in order to provide support before malfunctioning of digester.
