INP-HB refers to the National Polytechnic Institute Félix Houphouët-Boigny (Institut National Polytechnique Félix Houphouët-Boigny) in Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire. It is a higher education institution that offers technical and engineering programs. The institute is named after Félix Houphouët-Boigny, the first president of Côte d’Ivoire. INP-HB is known for its focus on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields and plays a significant role in providing technical education and promoting research and innovation in the country.
My City : Yamoussoukro¶
Yamoussoukro is the political capital and an important city in Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), a country located in West Africa. It serves as the administrative capital of the country, while Abidjan remains the economic capital. Yamoussoukro is situated in the central part of the country, approximately 240 kilometers north of Abidjan.
Yamoussoukro is known for several significant landmarks, including the Basilica of Our Lady of Peace, which is one of the largest churches in the world. The basilica was constructed by former President Félix Houphouët-Boigny and is a prominent tourist attraction in the city. The Presidential Palace, also known as the Palace of Félix Houphouët-Boigny, is another notable landmark.
In addition to its administrative and cultural significance, Yamoussoukro holds historical importance as the birthplace of Félix Houphouët-Boigny, who was the first president of Côte d’Ivoire. The development of the city was largely influenced by his vision and efforts.
