1. Principles and practices¶
As part of this week’s work, students were asked to sketch a potential final project. This is not necessarily the actual final project, but a starting point for the creative process. It was also emphasized that having an idea of what one wants to create early on will be beneficial for students as they can work on different aspects of the final project during the course. Therefore, as part of my research for my final project, I tried the following.

I decided to develop an intelligent motorization system for mechanical valves. The idea is to develop an automatic irrigation system, adaptable to a mechanical, manual irrigation system. This system will be totally autonomous by using solar energy thanks to a small solar plate and an associated battery. The device will be controlled manually by a button or remotely by Wi-Fi.
