Dissemination

I looked through the patent options and the one that I thought would be best for my project was the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License. This allows others to copy, redistribute, remix, transform, or build upon my final project which is what I want. I have also taken inspiration or expanded from others’ projects and I think that people in the future could also expand upon what I have made, thus this license is perfect for my project.

The license terms are as follows:
- Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
- Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material
- Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.
- NonCommercial — You may not use the material for commercial purposes.

Future thoughts

In the future I would like to incorporate more sensors, like a temperature sensor. I used a temperature sensor during week 11 which also measured altitude, humidity, and pressure and I think it would be cool if I added more buttons which adjusted the color and/or brightness based on one or more of those readings. I also would like to integrate an app on my phone to control the color in addition to the remote because control from my phone would be even more convenient.
