Project Dissemination

Based on the information from Neil’s Lecture I believe that the Creative Commons License would be the best way to go for my project personally. A creative commons license is ” one of several public copyright licenses that enable the free distribution of an otherwise copyrighted “work”. A CC license is used when an author wants to give other people the right to share, use, and build upon a work that the author has created.” I believe that fit what my project well so I visited this website so I could create the license.

I decided for Adaptions of my work to be shared but the correct given must be given, a link must be given to the license and it needs to explain if there were changes made. I made it noncommercial so it can not be used to make money. Then ShareAlike means if you change the content in any way then you have to distribute your contributions under the same license.

Since thus work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License, I put the code on my site here. This is the code

<a rel="license" href="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/"><img alt="Creative Commons License" style="border-width:0" src="https://i.creativecommons.org/l/by-nc-sa/4.0/88x31.png" /></a><br />This work is licensed under a <a rel="license" href="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/">Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License</a>.

This is how the symbol looks:

Creative Commons License
This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.
