Individual assignment: Propose a final project masterpiece that integrates the range of units covered. Answering the following questions.
Introduction
In this assignment Prof. Neil explain the different application of Fab Academy course in society. He explain about project done by the student in different areas. The final project is a part of course, so he asking some question about project. Acatually the answer very simple, but we do the brain storming on the question, the answer will be too much lengthi and it will gives a clear cut ideas about the objective,methods, processes, planning and outcomes of project. So lets start thinking on the question.
1. What will it do?
Ans: A smart kitchen chimney is used for suction and exhaust the smoke get out from combustion of fossil fuel and gases in kitchen during cooking a food. It uses the solar energy as a power source to run the DC fan of the chimney. When the smokes come in contact with the sensor of chimney, the sensor gives the signal smoke sensor board which using ATtiny44 microcontroller. The exhaust fan will get operate, which can suck the smoke from kitchen and exhaust it into carbon charcoal filter where the carbon and other hazardous gases will get absorbs and the smoke will be exhausted into the atmosphere.
2. Who's done what beforehand?
Ans: In market smart kitchen chimney is available with input AC power. Here I am using DC solar energy which is renewable and easily available energy. Solar technology is the novel technology which uses the natural sunlight to produce electricity so the entire system uses the solar energy as a power source.
3. What will you design?
Ans: Firstly, I will design body of chimeny using 2D and 3D software. Generally, I will used FreeCAD software for design. Then I will design the smoke sensor board, already I am trying to design this board inInput Devices week but here in this board I have to also add output devices and may be networking also. So, this complete board I will design using ATtiny44 microcontroller.
