I am Elena Racanicchi, an Italian student with a Bachelor's degree in Science of Communication.
I became interested in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Interaction Design after following an HCI course during the second year of my BA.
This led me to apply for an internship at the Santa Chiara Lab to work on the Quietude Project.
During that time, I took inspiration from the project and I decided to write my thesis on "Expressive Movement and Shape-Changing Interfaces.
After graduation, I didn't know what Master's degree choose.
In the meantime, I wanted to learn more about digital fabrication in an active and challenging environment.
So, when my professor told me about Fab Academy, I knew it was going to be the perfect opportunity for me.
And here I am.
