I used the Janome machine for my activity. Janome embroidery machines are renowned for their precision and innovative features, making them a top choice for embroidery enthusiasts and professionals. My activity and steps

I made a map of Nigeria and the logo of Jica. I started by downloading the images.

then i used the Janome software to generate the path for the images above and then saved in a flash drive and inserted it into the Janome machine ready for sewing

I placed a punching bag on the workpiece holder and secured it in place. The punching bag is used so as to test print and also to get the size required on subsequent prints.

Then i inserted the thread into the thread possition at the top of the machine. After that i started the sewing process

The printed design is then cut out and a sticky tape is attached followed by a stick gum material

The designes are then printed again on the stick gum material

I placed and attached a transfer paper using a pressing iron with a layer of clothing between them

I used a soldering iron to cut out the shape of the design

I used the pressing iron again to attached the cut out shape to my cloth.

With this i have come to the end of my weekly activity
