18. Invention, intellectual property and income

This week I incorporated an intellectual property license and made a final project slide and presentation.

I chose to use a creative commons license since I do not wish to commercialize my project. I then decided upon the Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International since I want to allow people to make use of my project but not profit off of it.

I will use this icon to indicate my creative commons license:

In the future, it could become more widespread as a cooler, more fun way to play chess perhaps springboarding off the recognition and popularity of wizard’s chess from Harry Potter.

Slide

I used gimp to create a 1920 x 1080 placeholder draft slide with the draw tool to be edited later. I later continued with gimp to make my final slide.

Video

I used OpenShot Video Editor to make a 1080p placeholder draft video to be edited later. I later continued with OpenShot to make my final video.
