The aim of the project is to make a free and inexpensive device,

for this reason the project is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike 3.0.

Recognition – Share Alike (by-sa): The material created by an artist can be distributed, copied and exhibited by third parties if shown in the credits. Derivative works must be under the same terms of license as the original work.

On the other hand, the project comes from other sites opened and released the following licenses:

  • Arduino: Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike 3.0.
  • Processing: GNU GPL, General Public License
  • Adafruit: Creative Commons Attribution, Share-Alike license
  • Fab Academy: MIT License

_conclusion

The portion of the licenses is a major issue, especially if the products developed are innovative in this project a free license is the most appropriate, but for future developments is important to see the relevant laws for trademark registration and patent.
