About me
Hi, my name is Sigridur Helga Hauksdottir or Sigga Helga for short. I live in Reykjavik Iceland. I am an artist and designer, I work freelance but I also teach. I have been teaching at the Icelandic Art Academy for the last 10 years. There I mainly teach mold making techniques with plaster. I also teach at Reykjavik Art School and at Reykjavík's Adult Educational center, where I´m head of the Art's department. I teach among other things silversmithing, graphic design, drawing, silk screen printing, wood carving , ceramics and glass. Lately I have been teaching some groups in the Reykjavik FabLab and I am joining the Fab Academy to become a better instructor for my students.
