This week we discussed abut machines controlled by a computer as vinyl cutting / laser
Laser cutting is a technology which users laser cutting of different materials that are used in the production line. Process is done by focusing a laser beam with high power, using a computer, to the material to be cut using laser greatest advantage is that clipping is performed without mechanical contact. Friction allows movements “free” anymore, and increases the flexibility of the geometric intersection. Laser beam is usually narrower mechanical equipment
Vinyl cutter is very similar to the laser cutter but does not use a laser beam but has a knife cuts the material that actually can control the intensity / depth of cut
השבוע עסקנו במכונות הנשלטות על ידי מחשב כמו מכונות חיתוך וניל/לייזר
חיתוך בלייזר היא טכנולוגיה שבעזרתה משתמשים בלייזר לחיתוך חומרים שונים הנמצאים בשימוש בפסי יצור. התהליך מתבצע על ידי מיקוד קרן לייזר בעלת הספק גבוה, באמצעות מחשב, אל פני החומר המיועד לחיתוך היתרון הגדול בשימוש בלייזר הוא בכך שהחיתוך מתבצע ללא מגע מכני. פרט לאנרגיה המוקרנת על החומר אין חיכוך מכני ולכן יש שחיקה פחותה של כלי חיתוך. היעדר
החיכוך מאפשר תנועות “חופשיות” יותר, ומגדיל את הגמישות הגאומטרית של החיתוך. קרן לייזר היא בדרך כלל צרה יותר מכלים מכניים
חותך הוניל דומה מאד לחותך הלייזר אך הוא אינו משתמש בקרן לייזר אלא יש לו סכין החותכת את החומר כך בעצם ניתן לשלוט על עוצמת/עומק החיתוך
