Group assignment

Sketch

We started by discussing our group project; later we decided to make a drawing machine inspired by this Printing Machine. More details can be found on the group pagefor the project.

For this week assignment, I have contributed by designing the drawing box. It was the initial step for making the design for laser cutting.

● Step 1. Set up the thickness, width, length and kerf in Fusion 360.

● Step 2. Create the sketch.

● Step 3. Extrude the sketch 4.00mm.

● Step 4. Create the drawing from design, and output to be PDF file.

● Step 5. Assemble the bodies using move tool.

● Step 6. Modify the outline in Adobe Illustrator to be 0.02mm for laser cutter, also output to be PDF file.

● Step 7. Cut the output file, and assemble the pieces. More details can check our group assignments. we assemble the machine together. Also, how to set up the laser cutter, I learned in the Computer-controlled cutting week.
