Previous work

2018-2020:

After coimg back to Bhutan, I did civil service exam and was working as an insturctor in a Technical Training Institute for almost 3 years and was traninng students in building life skill and also electrical testing skills. I fell in love with teaching as I was learning a lot of life skills. The take away from that job was Patience and the love for learning through teaching.

2021-2024:

Then I applied for a job as an Analyst for Super fablab(SFL). We were just planning and in construction phase of SFL but I was also prallelly learning about about fablabs and learning the skills needed in fablab though fabacademy previous cources. And I was so excited to use SFL when it finally got inaugrated in June 2022 as Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck Super Fablab by our HRH Crown prince and lab named after him. My role in the lab is fablab manager and also an engineer.

I work in developing and implementing STEM programs around digital fabrication in lab which also allows me to teach. Also carrying our machine making projects in collaboration with MIT. I have been trying to replicate few of Jakes (Prof Neils student) machine but I felt that I was doing more that what I understood so I started to makea 3d printer in the lab for distribution in the schools in Bhutan.
