This week's assignment is to make a plan for the dissemination of the final project. For me, this is pretty straightforward: the project I'm making is not intended to ever become a commercial product, a basis for research, or anything other than a visual display/prompt in my classroom.

So I plan to disseminate the work publicly only through the Fab Academy archive. Semi-publicly, I guess, it will be used in my classroom. I will attach a copyright license to the work, a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license.

More importantly for me, though, were some ideas about projects and attribution in general that came out of the lecture. I will be teaching a Maker's Workshop next year, in which students will be designing and creating projects, and it really helped my planning and thinking about how I can support and guide my students. The idea of "ready, fire, aim" in particular is something I'll utilize in helping them get over the "getting started" hump.
