About the assignment: APPLICATIONS AND INPLICATIONS
Plan and document a final project that integrates the range of units covered: what will it do? who's done what beforehand? what materials and components will be required? where will they come from? how much will it cost? what parts and systems will be made? what processes will be used? what tasks need to be completed? what questions need to be answered? what is the schedule? how will it be evaluated? projects can be separate or joint, but need to show individual mastery of all of the skills where possible, you should make rather than buy the parts of your project
What will it do?
My final project is something between a kinetic sculpture and a furniture,
I will have a panel hanged on the wall and trough touch it will change shape and it will become a chair.

Thinking about transformation, kinetic sculpture or furniture I have a couple of examples:
what materials and components will be required?
For my project I will use the following components:
4x8 hardboards with folding pattern
three 4' aluminum rectangular pipes.
connectors to hang the structure to the wall
two DC motor connected to the first pipe
two threaded rods
two coupling to connect the rods to the motors
one touch sensor
boards to connect and control motors
two micro on off switch
Where will they come from?
I can find all the materials in internet or hardware store like Home Depot

the hardboard will be cut with shopbot, if one is not enough to support the weight I will glue two together
