Model (draw, render, animate, simulate, ...) a possible final project, and post it on your class page.

I started from basic seating sections to study how human body can seat or lying down.

For my computer aided design project I started with a 2d design of the profiles for my shape

Each profile is based on five body positions: standing, leaning, seating, lying, stretching.

In Autocad I performed a loft of the cross sections creating my surface.

In Rhino I extruded the surface.

and I used "contourn" to divide the shape every 4 cm.

I selected and joined the single group of line.

An extrusion of each surface gave me the single solid piece.

After an export in dxf, I set the render with light and materials with 3D Studio.
