18. Invention, Intellectual Property, and Income¶
This is the assessment for this module:
- Develop a plan for dissemination of your final project.
- Prepare drafts of your summary slide (presentation.png, 1920x1080) and video clip (presentation.mp4, 1080p HTML5, < ~minute, < ~10 MB) and put them in your root directory.
Dissemination and licence¶
For my project I decided to go for the Creative Commons (CC) Licenses. More specifically, I decided to use the Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0).
I decided to do so since my project’s concept is really interesting for a future commercial remake. There are local companies that work all year producing items, toys and more about the Palio di Siena, so my idea is to propose a more detailed version of my final project.
At the actual stage my Pista dei Barberi is still a prototype, but with the proper adjustments it could be made and sold by one of those companies.
Anyway, if none of those companies are interested in my prototype, I will keep it as a unique piece. I don’t want it to be remade commercially by someone else. All sorts of non commercial use are allowed though…so let the improvements come!
