19. Invention, intellectual property and income

This week I worked on defining how i can let use my project.

a. Develop a plan for dissemination of your final project b. Prepare drafts of your summary slide (presentation.png, 1920x1080) and video clip (presentation.mp4, 1080p HTML5, < ~minute, < ~10 MB) and put them in your root directory

The project objective include:

• Allow students to learn science by using an introduction of programming with science.

My project has been developed entirely with an open source model in mind based on a pre existing one. This site and my project is sharable, modifiable and useable under MIT OPEN SOURCE LICENSING. I permit others to use the files, codes and others involved in it. The only condition is this license and copyright notice be included copies or substantial uses of the work.

I wll use the Creative Commons (CC) license because which can be found in the link it allows a free dstribution of a work giving others the right to share, use, and build upon a work that he/she has created.

A Creative Commons (CC) license is one of several public copyright licenses that enable the free distribution of an otherwise copyrighted work. A CC license is used when an author wants to give people the right to share, use, and build upon a work that they have created. CC provides an author flexibility and protects the people who use or redistribute an author’s work from concerns of copyright infringement as long as they abide by the conditions that are specified in the license by which the author distributes the work

I use the creative commons licenses by attribution because it allows all users of the original work, as long as it is attributed to the original author. I chose to work with a Creative Commons License Recognition 4.0 International.

DISSEMINATION AND POSSIBLE INCOMES

I am sure that my product can be improved especially by giving other features to the animal bot. In fact i think it will be useful for different educational purposes as well for different companies to design similar products for middle school students.

This work is done for academic purposes and not intended as a business plan.

DRAFT OF THE SUMMARY OF MY PROJECT

This project will scale up on doing different models according to the science requirements. The base of programming is the same but some changes to the structure will be done. This project is not intended to be a business but for education purposes.

We can start running this idea in a private school and then the idea is to provide this technological support to public school making the students to love science and to ge involved in tecnology.

Learning outcomes

Since this project, other projects will be performed to allow different teachers the use of modules for different classes. At the beginning i thought about science, but being creative anybody can create any project as needed according to the curricula based program. Some companies worked on animal robots but for programming, not for using it for a specific class as an additional task.

Costs: The final cost of the prototype is not yet defined because it is not finished. It is estimated that it would cost between $ 100 and $ 200 excluding the cost of labor. Income: Any non-end user (intermediary) could charge their labor costs plus a margin.
