Final project presentation
What is Mooods ?
Mooods is a global Happiness plateform.
How to increase happiness using a personnal device that store your daily level of happiness ?
It is composed by 5 projects:
- Moood Lamp : Device made in fabacademy
- Moood Mobile App : mobile application (out of fabacademy scope)
- Moood Server : REST API service (out of fabacademy scope)
- Moood Front app : Web App to display hapinness (out of fabacademy scope)
- Moood Web site : Web site presenting Mooods (out of fabacademy scope)
The Moood Lamp is more than a regular, nice looking, lamp. Every time you are going to sleep, use Moood lamp and its set of colors to set your daily level of happyness (from red to green) asking yourself : “How good was my day ?”
The lamp is connected to your mobile phone using its BLE chip, and send to it the level you set. Then the phone get its location and sent to REST API service the entry of the day. The service store that data into its database.
If you go the Font app, you will be able to see a global map of the levels of happiness of Mooods users.
What is nice with moods is that you can customize, build your own rings using any materials, technics you want. How will you make your own ?

What you need to create yours

Chek details on Application and implication assignment and final project development pages.
For the input sensor you might need some Bare conductive ink
For decoration (may be used later) you can cut using vinyle plotting your name for exemple in a copper foil material
Materials for the Rings
- 1/4 inch magnet 6 per regular rings, 3 for top and bottom
- PLA/ABS or whatever you want for 3D printed rings
- Wood, plastics, PMMA, PVC, MDF, Aluminium, or whatever you want for Milled rings
- Resin, plaster, marble, plastics or whatever you want to casted rings.
I would recommand using A big (I used 30mm) piece of PMMA for the top ring.
But you can also use a 4mm PMMA and print the top ring
