this week
the
assignment
was:
Design
or modify a machine, by making as many of the components that is
possible. Document the group project and your individual
contribution, make the passive parts and operate it manually.
For
the final project is defined as the alteration of AXYZ 4008 CNC
Router in part to use it with another attachment that will be
used to weave over the area to be developed in CNC worktable.
The final project was developed using the
following steps:
1. - It
had to take all
the dimensions of the router
to perform the alteration
Dimensions taken were the height and width of the base where the cutting motor is placed
2. - Different
alternatives were studied examples of a weaver like automatic and based on that
determination CNC design

4. - It took the determination to work it in 12mm MDF for the low cost involved and the laser cutting machine for its precision.

This is the alteration of the machine at the beginning. I continue to study the movements of the X, Y, and Z that are going to be the route to conduct the CNC to achieve the goal of weaving.
Changing the CNC router
I am still missing some hardware like the knitting needle, and
the tension mechanism to weave the rope.
