Topic development
I
am currently working on the part of social responsibility in the
state of Chiapas, which is the most backward state in the country,
and with a level of poverty and hunger. One in four people have
extreme poverty.
The
main problems facing its people is health and hygiene, as well as
the lack of a decent home with more resources needed.
I will try to
work with some of the elements of the population and culture of
the state of Chiapas, analyzing initially its population and
culture, as well as the crafts of the place.
State of Chiapas
The settlement of older sedentary population of the territory is the ceremonial center of Izapa, corresponding to -1500 BC-Preclassic, with a strong influence of the Olmec Gulf. The Mayan culture flourished in the region during the Classic Period, 292 to 900 years AD At that time they were developed, including the group advances, mathematical and algebraic extensive knowledge, medical historiography, hieroglyphic writing and commerce. However, the biggest cultural boom occurred during the Late Classic, 650-950 AD. The centers of Yaxchilan, Bonampak and Palenque date from this last period. Significantly, in the ceremonial center of Palenque has one of the few pyramids that line the tomb of a dignitary, as inferred by the jewels, ornaments and utensils that were found in it
The Mayans were heirs of Olmec and Zapotec civilizations whose knowledge was expanded and refined to create one of the world's great cultures. After the boom was followed wars, occupation of cities and conflicts between groups, which led to the decline of the Maya. They left the big centers and power passed to the Chiapas Indians, who prevented even the conquered the Mexica.
The Tzotzil people living in central and north-central state of Chiapas, in southern Mexico. It is part of the Mayan family along with other ethnic groups in the states of Tabasco, Yucatan, Campeche, Quintana Roo, San Luis Potosí (tenek ethnicity) and the Central American countries of Guatemala, Belize and Honduras.

Final Project
As
an aid to the indigenous communities of Chiapas in developing
their rugs and some crafts made from colored threads woven through
weaving machines produced manually.
The project focuses on the development of a weaving machine for
Tzotzil from adapting a device to serve three-dimensional weaving
indigenous women.
This project will allow aid to indigenous women in improving their
production of tissues and help implement the Digital Manufacture
in their production processes.
Conclusion
Among one of the conclusions reached at this stage is that it seems likely to depend on work process to develop the second stage. On the second stage of the project will be decided which items will work.
