Electronic Design

For this lab I used the tutorial prepared by Anna Kaziunas one named Intro to Eagle and I leave in the following link:

http://www.as220.org/fabacademy/tutorials/electronics_design_eagle.php

After I installed the libraries and everything needed to use Eagle, I began the elaboration of the card with the button and the led.

The components to be used are:

Symbols of the components used in eagle

The diagram below shows the microcontroller with the basic elements for operation and programming, however, we need the input and output elements to use.

And finished creating my own schema, with all the basics to plan, operate and work with the inputs and outputs of the microcontroller, in Eagle without errors.

Now, I have to create the drawing with the tracks to make the models and to be able to solder the components later.

Workmanship

Using Fabmoduls I have created the route of the cutting tool to produce the plate.

To ensure a job well done I made a test on wood to see the devastation of the channels, which it helped me understand what mistakes I might have in the final plate.

Performing the test on wood

I made the final work with the copper plate. Now I know that the origin of the machine? should be placed at the center of the plate.

He enlists the copper plate to start working.

This is the way the copper plate looks when the model is finished. Although I had some problems with the model, and I did not devastate all the copper of the plate. I solve the problem by separating the tracks with a razor where they did not have to be together, and I tin the tracks to facilitate the task at the time of welding.

Use the following tools and materials for welding:

• Soldering
• Welding
• Soldering paste

Here is the list of components that must be welded:

I had some problems with the circuit, so I had to fix it with the help of a cable, because one connection in my design was wrong. Since the microcontroller was not detected when pressing the button, my initial setup was to pull up, but for some strange reason did not work, and it was change to pull down. All I did is to change the GND with the VCC in the connection of the resistance with the button and the microcontroller.

This is the final result
