First part

My background

I was born in Lima Perú, I'm thirty years old and I studied Architecture at FAUA - UNI. Lima is a very special city, its one of the most chaotic places in the world but there are many things that I really like about this place. My country is very special too, there are magical places and ancient ruins of old civilizations to visit. I love peruvian food! I recommend you give it a try since its one of the things that I miss the most when I travel, even though I like to taste different flavours around the world.
I love music, I can play the guitar and the ukulele, I have some other instruments that I practice from time to time. I’m a dog-person but I don’t hate cats. I really like to travel. I’ve been to some countries and I think it is enriching to know many people from different cultures. Yoga is very important to my morning routine since it gives me an excellent start into the day, both physically and mentally. I’m planning on finishing my first book this year. I like to write about a diverse variety of topics and I’m looking forward to publish something I created myself.

Some ideas

I truly believe that education will save the world, children deserve to enjoy life not only in the future, but also right now. I am working to explore alternatives and be the woman our youth desperately need. Empathy is very important to make this world a better place. We have a long road ahead of us and I am privileged to be part of this program because I believe it is an opportunity to solve the most important problem of our time: The lack of support in education. Many of the projects I have worked on to date are related to education, here are some of them.

Projects

INICIATIVA LIBRE

PUBLIC SPACES
The best option

“Iniciativa LIBRE” is a diverse group of students and university graduates who are interested in improving their city and the welfare of people. That’s why, we work voluntarily in the district of “El Agustino”; with children, civil organizations, leaders and neighbors; using architecture, urbanism and art as a tool for co-learning. Our mission is to create and manage urban and cultural initiatives focused on the social-urban development of our city in order to improve the quality of life of our citizens. We aspire to be a prosperous, integrated, supportive and democratic Metropolitan Lima, based on its own diversity and the social re-construction of it’s inhabitants.
💪 "Architecture, urbanism and art as tools for social transformation and the creation of citizenship."

FAB LAB PERU

TEAM WORK
FABmilia

I'm part of the FabLab Perú team, this is an awesome team in South America where I can create and share many ideas or things that can help people. One aspect that I love about this place is the teamwork because they are amazing people and I am learning every day with them. In 2019 we had the oportunity to work in a one of a kind project called “Simbyocreation”, on the northern Amazon región. We managed to convert a boat into a FabLab. It was a different experience because we navigated the boat together with amazon children who learned alongside us many things about fablabs. They then showed what they learned to children in other comunities, this made it such a beautiful experience. I'm really happy to be part of this Fabmily. 🥰

DIGIWASI

EDUCATION
My home, my world

2020 was a challenge for everyone, but our team believed that the education should continue. We take advantage of this situation since the new laboratory for all the children was now in the confort of their own home. There was an opportunity to connect with parents which is important for the childs mental development, so that was the reason Digiwasi was born. Digiwasi is a transdisciplinary virtual learning laboratory that provides families and teachers with support for the cognitive, emotional and didactic development of children and adolescents. Through live sessions and our (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Maths) or STEAM project platform we integrate everyday life, technology, recycling and play in a cross-cultural way. Thanks to this project I won a scholarship to be in fab Academy 2021. 🥰
