Molding and casting
This week we decided to do the assignment as a group Oded Shorer, dana schwimmer, Neta Amir,Gali Baly, jonathan Ohayon. The idea was to base the assignment on the Israeli children book "Apartment for Rent" by Lea Goldberg .![](img/dra.jpg)
The book is about an apartments building that on each floor lives a different animal in a different looking apartment. We dissuaded that each student will get a section in the building that he or she will design as they want, and that will connect to any other section that other student made.
Oded designed the basic file:

I decided to design my section as a Bauhaus building, and use Rhino to design my model.

After I finished designing I cut the design in half and inserted it in to the mold pic

I used the shopbot to mill the mold using wax and 1\8 inch mills, first I used a straight end for the rough and then a boll end for the fine. after the shopbot finest milling I cleaned my mold

and filled the mold with smooth-sil 940 silicone 100g of A on 10g of B

and after 16 hours i had my silicone mold
