In recent years Peru has become a major worldwide tourist attraction, not only for its pre-Hispanic ruins or history, our gastronomy has also played an important role. For this reason I would like to propose as a final project something related to the gastronomy of my country, in particular the Pisco based cocktails which is our emblem liquor. My proposal is a machine for making Pisco based cocktails like the Pisco Sour or Chilcano additionally I would like to include an application with mini games in which the user reflexes will be tested in order to prepare a soft or hard version of the cocktail or to simply not allow the user to keep drinking.

Thus the development of my final project proposal is divided into two stages, the first is the development of the machine itself and the second the application development with mini games and the communication between the application and the machine controller. The first stage will focus on the design and construction of the machine, this includes a fluid dispensing system for dispensing the appropriate amounts of Pisco and other ingredients needed to prepare the cocktail. The machine must also have a tray and lights to indicate either the cocktail is ready or still in preparation process. The amount of each ingredient in the recipe depends directly on the user performance in the mini games application that will be sent wirelessly to the machine microcontroller.

The second stage will involve the development of an application, preferably mobile because this devices can make better use of touch controls. This application will contain several short duration mini games for measuring the user reflexes, about 10 seconds for each mini game and a maximum of 4 per round , these will be activated at random and consist of about 8 or 10 of these in total. As the user score points, the variable that hold the liquid amounts will be transmitted wirelessly to the machine controller to regulate the passage of the ingredients into the glass.

The ultimate goal is to work around the idea of having a drink in a more fun and challenging way but mostly fun, and definitely include a little more of my country culture in this project.
