13. Moulding and Casting

This week we focused on making moulds

Group work

In the group work we reviewed the safety procedures, made and compared test casts.

Individual assignment

Compare mould making processes.

Making the mould I first made what I wanted to mould.

So here i made the pokeball general shape.

Added a front piece

Put it in a square

Cutting it out of the square

Adding the ridges so that it will sit well on eachother without moving when molding

Adding a slot for pour the material.

Ok next to printing the thing on the resin 3d printer.

Here on the resin printing app we click new project.

Then select default setup

Then we add first model on to the placement.

Add second model

Add making them smaller

Make both of the moddels hollow to save material.
