About Fab Lab León
Fab Lab León is a community-based digital fabrication laboratory located in the city of León, Spain. The Shemakes program is a free initiative that aims to promote technology and digital skills among women and girls. The program offers workshops and training sessions on topics such as 3D printing, robotics, and coding, as well as mentorship and networking opportunities. The goal of Shemakes is to empower women and girls to pursue careers in technology and to close the gender gap in the tech industry.
The Poderosas program is another free initiative at Fab Lab León that aims to empower young girls and women by providing them with the skills and resources they need to start their own businesses or pursue entrepreneurial ventures. The program offers workshops on topics such as design thinking, business planning, and financial management, as well as mentorship and networking opportunities. The goal of Poderosas is to create a community of female entrepreneurs who can support and inspire one another.
