  1. PCB design of the board in Kicad

##what tasks remain?

  1. Printing the PCB and Soldering it
  2. Design of the box/housing that contains the electronic components
  3. Printing of the box using 3D printer
  4. Assembling all the components and code testing (programming the pcb)

what’s working? what’s not?

The I2C addresses of the chip are not working, I am planning to buy another one

##what questions need to be resolved?

  1. What is the range the device can sense the lightning strikes?

  2. Is the device able to differentiate man-made noise and the noise of lightning strikes?

  3. is the warning alarm produced?

Final project roadmap

what have you learned?

Whether or not my effort was a success, I gave it everything I had. Yes, there are still many things that can be done better, but up to this point, this final exercise has taught me a lot about digital fabrication as well as patience, adapting the tools and machines to my needs, stress management (which I still need to practice), being tired and sleepy but always careful when using equipment, being able to find our own solutions and answers to questions, and most importantly, self-awareness about our own capabilities.
