A9 - Mechanical Design, Machine Design


My group and I designed a robotic dolly cam to make timelapses or documentation for the FabLab projects and process. I help my group by designing the cell phone or tablet telescope and stand. I used some 3d print screws and parts from some 3d printed camera stands on the internet,I modified them and merge them together.

The Phablet 3d printed Stand was modified to fit the articulation.

The telescopic arm has a two XY rotation planes, one in the motor base and another in the cellphone stand that can rotate 360°. It has also a two YZ hinges so you can adjust the height and the tilt of all the arm.
