this week i built a web site and made a proposal for a final project.
design, make, and document a Printed Circuit Board.
design a 3D mold, machine it, and cast parts from it.
measure something: add a sensor to a microcontroller board that you've made and read it.
add an output device to a microcontroller board and program it to do something.
plan and document a final project that integrates the range of units covered.
design, make, and document a press-fit construction kit. cut a kit.
redesign a PCB (printed circuit board) schematics and board.
make something BIG.
programming: write an application that interfaces with an input and/or output device.
design or modify a machine, making as many of the components as possible. make the passive parts and operate it manually. automate your machine.
work on your final project, documenting your progress.
this weeks assignment was supposed to be pretty simple, since CAD is a thing that i know. the problem was, my final project doesn't actually include fabricated parts yet(!)
print in 3D a scanned object and a software designed object.
read a microcontroller data sheet, program your board to do something.
design and make a 3D mold, and produce a fiber composite part in it.
build a wired and/or wireless network with at least two nodes.
develop a plan for dissemination of your final project.
