Assignment

    2D Design Paint

    My first 2D software is a Paint
    A simple-function computer graphics program produced by Microsoft.
    Most versions of Windows from Windows 1.0 to the present are included by default.
    Until the time of Windows 3.1, the English word "paint" was used.
    Basically, it supports Windows Bitmap (BMP) and formats JPEG, GIF, PNG, and TIFF from Windows XP.
    It supports color mode and black-and-white mode, but not gray-scale mode.

    It's a powerful tool for resizing and inserting pictures
    It's very simple, it's able to do basic tasks quickly,
    But there is a limit to performance


    2D Design Inkscape

    Inkscape is First launched in 2003, the most representative free vector editor in the open source
    The color of the workspace and the wallpaper are the same, and it's a bit annoying to set up the workspace
    The interface is intuitive and good
    There is a great advantage of being able to create digital embroidery files using the extension function

    Very similar to an illustrator
    But unlike illustrator, it does not fit for printing because it does not support CMYK


    2D Design Illustrator

    Vector Image Production Tool being produced by Adobe

    It's a little expensive
    It offers a big discount for students and is free for one month
    Remove background function and Image trace function is the flower of this program




    Image trace is a feature that replaces jpg with a Vactor image.
    In the week3, I created an acrylic door for my final project, using the Illustrating Image Trace function


    When you start, it's very good to show you some land templates

    3D Design Solid Works

    Solidworks was my first 3D modeling program Solidworks homepage Link
    I wanted to make a tumbler for practice, but it wasn't easy
    So i find a 3D program that was more easy to beginners

    The 3D Design of the Final Project that was originally conceived
    Fusion 360 will be used as 3D model software
    Because there were many videos of good lectures in Korean

    First, draw a sketch
    D- Dimension
    To enter dimensions
    L-Line Drawing


    After finishing sketch
    3D Modeling with Extrude Function


    Draw a sketch on top of the 3d model and then Extrude again


    Appearance is used to coat the texture of physical materials

    I'm going to add parametric designs for each part
    Result
    The reason we didn't use solidworks and inkcapes was because we didn't have a lot of data in Korean
    Fusion and illustration were due to a large number of explanatory materials (especially YouTube) in Korean
    My computer design process is
    First, draw a 2D drawing with a fusion.
    I've arranged it in the illustration and added letters or pictures

    Review
    I've never turned on design software before the Academy started
    But after six months of studying, I was able to get almost what I wanted
    When I first took this class, it was very interesting and it felt like a high wall
    But we've got a satisfactory result
    Review After 2 Months
    At that time, I had a little less understanding of parametric design, and it took a lot of time to modify my design
    After the Academy, I relearned the basics of Fusion 360 and realized that building a solid foundation would speed up my work and improve my design.
    I was very satisfied at the time compared to before the beginning of the Academy,
    but I realized that I still lacked a lot, and I think I should continue to study and improve my skills.
