Week18

Project development

I successfully finished the presentation with the help of many people
Thanks to everyone who helped :)
[Final Project Presentation Video Link]

what tasks have been completed, and what tasks remain?

Korean Traditional house Wooden Frame Made with Fusion and Shopbot
Board that connects fine dust sensors, humidifiers, and LED
Arduino code with LED and humidifier turned on according to the amount of fine dust
There are more than 4 LED that I want, and only 1 LED is currently in use

what has worked? what hasn't?

To change the color of LEDs by measuring the fine dust value
Humidifier turns on when the fine dust value reaches a certain value
A sufficient amount of smoke does not fill the Hanok
LED is not bright enough

what questions need to be resolved?

How to Lock Smoke Inside How to make a tighter roof To add multiple LED

what will happen when?

This is my final project development timetable
I've been behind in my homework for weeks, and everything hasn't gone as planned
From the second week, my instructor told me to keep the weekly timetable,
but I couldn't keep it properly and I didn't have enough time to cram at the end
Fortunately, I thought design steadily, It took three to four days just to build and finishing the exterior frames
2 days to design and fail and recreate circuit boards
Finally, I programmed the code with my instructor until 4 a.m. the day before the presentation(Thank you, Craig)
I made slides and videos two hours before the presentation, and I revised the slides after the presentation
I prioritized my work and simply changed a few functions from the code I originally wanted
While the bantam was running, we organized the components in advance and continued to program them on the Uno Board
I've done a lot of work while I'm running the CNC
The last plan was to avoid errors,
but there were problems that I didn't think about (for example, if the wood tolerance didn't fit),
and I had to include errors in the time plan
Thank you for all design files, production videos and helpers on the Final Project page
I learned that time management is very important
Fortunately, I've got the results I'm looking for
If I had set a timetable every week, I think I'd have a more satisfying outcome

what have you learned?

Make sketches a computer-readable file using 2d 3d design software such as Fusion360, Illustrator, etc
Cutting plywood with a shopbot using a Vcarve
Design circuit boards using an Eagle cad
Using the Bantom PCB mill to create my own circuit boards
Programming with Arduino
How to read data sheets
I've learned the process of embodying ideas
How to broaden your knowledge while sharing
How to enjoy new challenges
How not to give up
And how to make almost anything!
