Final project requirements
slide
I made a slide describing the sediment trap structure. I tried to explain all parts'purpose.
I was also able to add a picture of an installed trap, thanks to Alexia.
Video
I also had to make a short video about my final project.
s for my slide, I tried to explain as much as possible the purpose of the sediment trap and explicit its structure.
Final project page
I made a complete documentation of my final project and its design process. The main page can be found here
Bill of Material
The BoM of the sediment trap is here
Final project work during Fabacademy weeks
I didn't really think about it until now, but I almost never worked on my final project during my week assignments.
Either, it doesn't apply to it (molding for example), I wanted to try new things (embedded programming week) or it doesn't match with the project's agenda (PCB was designed before electronics design week).
The only assignment directly linked to my final project is when I modelled a first draft of the disk dispenser during Computer-Aided Design week.
System integration
The system integration of my project is described on the corresponding week assignment page

Previous work and help
Existing sediment trap are described here.
Discussions with Alexia helped me define the technical requirements.
Alexia is an experimented diver. She tested the first prototype in Belgium (in an flooded quarry).
It confirm that the disc dispenser works underwater.
She also painted the first prototypes with the bio-fouling paint. That gives me enough time to assemble the disc dispenser for her April's mission.
