Hi! I am Melissa Kim. I am a high schooler (sophomore) based in Seoul, Korea. I am interested in STEM, especially regarding engineering and biology.

My background

I was born in the United States and have attended Seoul International School since kindergarten.

Previous work

I worked on an engineering project at the BOLD Lab where I was introduced to the Fab Academy program! My previous work was related to creating a low cost hearing aid along with 3 other high schoolers. We participated in an entrepreneurship competition with our product as a team called EarFix and showcased our product!

To create the hearing aid, we used 3D modeling/printing and PCB for the program.
