using Rhino, i created a 3d guitar model. the model has two sides with fillet corners, and other smooth areas, and i am going to mill it on both sides בעזרת ריינו, יצרתי מודל תלת מימדי של גיטרת בס. ב 2 צידיו של המודל (עליון ותחתון) יש אזורים מעוגלים וחלקים. אני מתכוונת לכרסם את הגיטרה משני הצדדים.

to start the mill, i first chose material. i decided to do a test in styrofoam before i throw a big chunk of wood to waste. כדי להתחיל בכרסום, תחילה בחרתי בחומר. החלטתי להשתמש בקלקר, כדי לבדוק אם מידות הגיטרה טובות ונכונות, בכדי שלא יזרק גוש עץ גדול. חיברתי את הקלקר למיטת המכונה

I uploaded the 3d model to "partWorks 3d", the first thing is to determine the model sizes. העלתי את המודל התלת מימדי ל"פארטוורקס" בתלת מימד. הדבר הראשון היה לקבוע את מידות המודל בתוכנה.

the 3rd thing is to choose the type of work, rough or finish, since i'm only using styrofoam- a soft material, i don't need to do the rough part and clear most of the material, when i'll use real wood, i won't skeep this part. i chose "finish" type of work, for that i need to choose the milling bit. the bit is 2mm ball nose.

the next thing is to set the bit in the machine. i enterd it to the collect and pushed it in and closed. הדבר הבא הוא הכנסת הכרסם למכונה. הכנסתי את הכרסם לקולקט וקיבעתי אותו בהברגה.

after turning over the half milled model, i did the same thing in the part works software and created the gcode for the bottom part. the onnly thing that was changes, is the starting place, i now zeroing the z axis on the bottom part. לאחר הפיכת הצדדים, עשיתי את אותם הדברים בתוכנה כדי לייצר "דרך" לעבודה על החלק התחתון. מלבד דבר אחד והוא קיבוע ציר הגובה מהחלק התחתון.

the next thing is to do it on wood. i'm glad i used styrofoam, because after mesuring some of the thing i bought for the guitar, i found i need to changes some of the sizes.
