Oded Shorer, Omer Ayal, Gali Baly and myself
decided to create a shelving system based on the same shape, but created from different combinations of composit materials. the shelving system will connect with a L shaped piece.
we started with creating 2 shelves with a gap for the material to press one on the other with the material between them.

החלטנו ליצור מערכת מדפים המורכבת מאותה הצורה, כאשר בכל פעם משתנים החומרים המרוכבים.
התחלנו ביצירת 2 מדפים בעלי רווח בין אחד לשני, כדי ללחוץ ביניהם את החומרים.

we created a recatangle with 2 pockets, and one piece to set in one of the pockets.
we milled MDF as a base for the composit materials
יצרנו מלבן בעל 2 גומחות ובתוך אחת הגומחות נכנס מוט הבולט מעל המלבן המקורי

after milling the MDF we had a lot of sanding to get all pieces together. and after that we place epoxy glue on the MDf so it will absorb and the MDF will be the perfect base for composit materials לאחר כרסום האם.די.אף. היו הרבה עבודות שיוף כדי לחבר את כל החלקים. ולאחר מכן, מרחנו דבק אפוקסי על הם.ד.י.אף כדי שיספג בעץ ויהפוך למשטח התחלטתי עבור החומרים המרוכבים.
we then set the epoxy to dry for 24 hours.
After 24 hours we created the composite material. first we spread some grease to make it easier to take out.

I decided to decorate my shelf with the hard part of tea bag, as a firs layer. after placing it, i spread epoxy. then after placing two layers of fiber glass and after each, layer of epoxy, we pressed the mold and waited for 24 hours. החלטתי לקשט את המדף שלי בחלק הקטוני של תיון. ושזה יהווה את השכבה הראשונה. לאחר מכן מרחתי דבק אפוקסי. לאחר מכן הנחתי פ2 שכבות פיברגלס, כאשר אחרי כל אחת מהן, מרחתי דבק אפוקסי. בסיום הפעולה הזו, לחצנו את התבניות וחיכינו 24 שעות לייבוש.
