Fab Academy 2013

Hello Fab Lab world and welcome to my homepage!
My name is Bjartur Týr Ólafsson and I come from a small island south of Iceland, called Vestmannaeyjar. I live there now and I have lived there since I was born in November, 1993.
I have been studying in the Fab Lab in my hometown for several years now and I am really fascinated by the world where you can make almost anything by yourself.
Last September I went on a three month trip to Manchester and Barcelona to get to know other Fab Labs in Europe. I worked with lot of great people in these Labs and felt these three months were the most instructive months in my live. I really learned a lot on that trip.
